Tribute to

Charles -Chuck- Blackorby passed away in September 2026, after a long and discreet retirement from academic life that began in 2010, at the end of an impressive academic career that had started as early as 1967, following the completion of his PhD at Johns Hopkins University under the supervision of Kelvin Lancaster.

Carine Nourry, Director of the School of Economics of Aix-Marseille, Professor at Aix-Marseille University, passed away on Friday June 7th, 2019.

Pierre Cartigny, Associate Professor in Mathematics at the University of Aix-Marseille II from 1986 to 2009, member of GREQE then of GREQAM, passed away on January 6th, 2019.
